P.S. This new coil was quite inexpensive on our favorite auction site. Seems to be a healthier market for old outboard parts than chainsaw parts.

What p series is it with the failed ignition?Could you share on the experimenting.Working on trying to get past a failed ignition on an early big P series I picked up recently. A bit of experimenting going on.
Took 3 days of soaking in gasoline to get all the pitch off the chain. Original chipper and lots of life.View attachment 520100
I have a 3270SC. I can take a pic or two of the air box, carb etc., if you are wanting to swap to a choke system.
Has anyone ever replaced the primer on a 3200 with one of the bulb types? if so can you post a picture? thanks!
I'm trying to track down some oil seals for the 3200 and haven't had any luck with motion Canada, my usual go to. The pioneer part number is 427656. Has anyone got a modern equivalent? Tia

Good work as usual Tim. I am not up to speed on this aspect of the game.
I should be swapping out the seals on my machine as well. That 427656 is for the FW side only? Do you have the measurements for the 428746 on the PTO?
Great info as always.I was just looking for some today, and everywhere said nla for the pioneer/poulan part number. The 428746 is the large P series seal.
Use SKF 5606 double lip or National 472705 double lip Nitrile
Fits bore size 1.00 inch and shaft size 9/16"
