Propliner posted a pic of the can of Sherwin Williams with the code on it,but I forget what page in this thread.this was probably discussed already but paint did you use? I have a 1073 and 1074 I would like to tear down and repaint. the 1074 has the paint just falling off.

I've always tuned mine the old-fashioned way. There's plenty of info on this site, if you don't already know how.Anybody tune there large p-series with a tach,and if so what do you set the max rpm at.

Yep I read the whole thread,took me a while.Any paint supply shop should be able to cross reference those numbers into there product if they don't have SW.wow, that is a ways back!

Depends if you want a single stage or base clear set up.Most clear coat is somewhat fuel safe.Probably pushing it if it's used everyday.The old enamel single stage is real strong stuff.what is the best kind of paint for fuel resistance? epoxy polyester?

the NU-17 has the standard NFG coil, but I saw that rocketnorton had used a McCulloch coil/armature assembly on his, and as I have one on hand that's what I plan to use as well. It looks quite similar. Any thoughts?
