This saw is a mix of three saws and no one saw was complete. So I need to know where this little parts goes. Black rubber insert of some sorts? Heck I've slept since I took it apart and can't recall where it goes.

I have split cases and put new oem bearings and seals in it. Sort of regretting nervous about using the used piston and rings put, it does pull just 150 on compression. I'm used to starting my 460 and other saws that have been ported so this saw seems weak at this point on arm pulling. I still need the chain brake cover, oil pump and the carb screw adjustment boot filler. Kind of surprised at how many little things I'm missing at this point. Saw idles fine on its own at this point.

I'll also add when I tip the saw on its side fuel runs out of the vent? Is there a replaceable part in there. It has a cap over it of sorts. Some type of duck bill etc? I never took it part and now wished I had.

You've pictured an isolator bushing that fits just above the rear most AV bushing on the PTO side of the saw. It cushions the rear handle/tank assy from the PTO side case half.
As far as fuel running out, you may be missing some things under said plastic cap of sorts..There is a cone like part under the cap that seems porous. Beneath that is a red one way hose type vent. The breather assy just pops off with a bit of a tug. Hope this helps.

I think MnSam is right. In your pic the mystery part looks very small in comparison to the saw.

He's talking about the small black cap on the right hand side of the oil pump below:

^ that looks like w inner on the small part as that is clearly the one I have. I just have yet to get the oil pump yet. It must have been in the case when taking the saw apart.

Thanks for that info.

The cone shaped filter thing is present on the fuel tank vent. I will have to pull t out and see what isn't there anymore then as it must have rotted away below it.
