Does Husqvarna sell a NK .325 chain with a full chisel cutter? I thought they only had semi-chisel. Stihl 23RS Pro is full chisel, and no safety bumpers. So, Stihl woke up and wants to take more business away form Husqvarna? I'll pass.
What you thought above seems to be what I have been lead to believe. (seen on ebay for about $400 a roll) That would feed into the taking more business away from Husky.Does Husqvarna sell a NK .325 chain with a full chisel cutter? I thought they only had semi-chisel. Oregon has a .043 gauge .325 chain that I got to test in the field trials. They meant it for saws under 3 hp. It comes with a bar, chain, and sprocket, which is a 7T spur. I put the kit on my 241 with a 8T rim. Talk about fast cuttingFinally saw the Stihl 23 RS Pro chain in stock in Ohio. Anybody else seeing it in the states? Now I need to get a new saw that runs .325!!
I’m assuming you had the Speedcut Nano? Is that semi chisel or full chisel?Oregon has a .043 gauge .325 chain that I got to test in the field trials. They meant it for saws under 3 hp. Yes, and it looked to be Hybrid is the only way I would describe it. Close to full chisel than a PM, but it was semi.I’m assuming you had the Speedcut Nano? Is that semi chisel or full chisel?
Cool. I was planning on setting up a times test of a number of different chains on a smaller saw. Was planning on using a Husky 340 as the test saw. Will have to include this when I get around to it.Yes, and it looked to be Hybrid is the only way I would describe it. Close to full chisel than a PM, but it was semi.

That is the 'SpeedCut Nano' chain - narrow kerf and low profile, for smaller, lower powered saws, as you describe.Oregon has a .043 gauge .325 chain that I got to test in the field trials.

Just to keep things clear, I have not tried this new STIHL chain yet: the focus of this thread. But I like the .325 narrow kerf (Type 95) Oregon / Husqvarna / Carlton semi-chisel chains, so I expect good things from the STIHL full- chisel version. I already have compatible guide bars.Maybe Phil, thats what they advise it as, but on my MS241C, it was a freaking ripper.

My comments on the ‘Nano’ chain are in the referenced thread. It cut well, especially, in smaller diameter limbs and softer wood. But not much better than some more common chains. Also, the cutters being small means a limited number of sharpenings. I would be happy to run it, but not in a hurry to change over to it, especially, until it becomes more available.
