You guys have been pulling my leg for so long. I was learning how to open up a muffler the right amount for better flow, and then the Amish showed me how it is really done.
700 lbs.? The cabinet sure doesn't look that heavy. It takes a pretty big piano to weigh 700 lbs., and they're filled with a lot of metal strings.Al Smith said:I've had some dealings with the Amish,of which I speak no disrespect. One such dealing was the computer cabinet ,of which I am writing this post. When I arrived at Mr Yoders store,it was like something out of a picture book.Immaculate lawn, grounds, etc. The store, was gas-lite,but Mrs.Yoder, was using a cell phone, hmm.I had made arraingements,to have it delivere d[ 50 miles from here].Mr Yoder, had an enclosed trailrer, but had to hire a driver, with a truck. He asked,if $50.,would be out of line.I of course said that would be fine.We they arrived, there were 4 strapping young men that moved it in the house[ over 700 lbs,all I had to do,was write the check.I was in the garage, writing the check, and Mr yoder, was eye balling my wife's Caddy. He remarked,as to the year, the engine, etc.I replied, about his knowledge,of the car.He said, with a twinkle in his eye,"just because I can't own one, doesn't mean I don't like them".How about that?
