Anybody else getting anxious for the 1st at Gregg's? I have never been to a GTG myself and am glad this one is so close to home so that I can make it.
:greenchainsaw:

Yep!!!

The wife and I are counting the days.
Got to start working on some of my old junks and see if I can get them running.
Sure would be embarrassing to be up there with all of those nice Poulans and couldn't get mine to run!

What's left of my saws have not run much lately either. Oh well, I don't claim to have the best or fastest anyhow. Just want to hang out with some good guys and saws.

Yep, anxious and starting to watch the weather..lol Looks like this weekend and first of next is gonna be a damp one. Hope it gets it out of its system by the 1st.
I'm kinda like Mike, I should go check my saws too, knock the mud daubers & spiders out of em.. Lot of mine havn't run for some time. I don't forsee a problem though, the old Poulans have allways been reliable.

Gregg,

I didn't know you folks were having a GTG until today, when another member emailed me. I wish that I could have scheduled around you guys so that I could have came to yours, and you all to ours. Hope you guys have fun, and if for some reason you can't have it at your location- you all are welcome to come down to the other GTG going on.

I would love to ask for an invite... If it wasn't 2000 miles away!

Are yeller Poulans welcome too?

Hope it's a gooder for y'all!

Cheers!

Thinking of which saws to bring. Can't bring them all!

I'm thinking more of bringing what others won't so everyone else can check them out. I'm thinking of bringing

Poulan Pro 325
245A bow
Dayton/245
71A
5200 28" or 32"
4200 24"
Modded Craftsman 3.7
Muffler modded 3700
2300cva
Dayton S25CVA
Poulan Pro 475 24"

No need to bring a 4000,3400,S25 as I'm sure there will be some there.

Any request or mods to my list?

Maybe a 361 bow, 306A, Husky 575 or 262 just for something else?

I would'nt mind checking out the 262 that everyone rave's about. Also would like to see a 306 there besides mine.

I was really wanting to bring the 505 and my dad says NO! He said "my saw is a tool and not a toy to go show off and play with" I was like heck I gave it to you and you won't let me barrow it and then he says "It was a gift and that no strings are attached to a gift" and that "he would give it to me when he was good and ready not until". He always has been a AHOLE! I just never figured that he would'nt let me barrow a saw that I GAVE HIM!!! Oh well, I'll remember this the next time he wants to use my splitter.:chainsaw::censored:

That looks to be an impressive list Mark. Most of those, I have never ran before. Am especially looking forward to checking out the 71A, 5200, 245, and any Bow saw, never even seen one of those run, in person.

You are right, I have most of the smaller ones you mention, but havn't had my 25's in wood yet.:dizzy: Anxious to see how they perform.

Most of the trees I been cutting the last couple years have been on the large size, so I usually run my 4000's and 385 Husky..lol Allthough, my 3700 has been getting some use also, it seems to be pretty stout.

Looking forward to seeing all you guys, and your saws...LOL

Gregg,

Which Saws?!

I've had the same dilemma, which saws to bring. Only so much space in the truck and several will be in cases. Fixin' to go out and load the truck later on, so we'll see. Looks like a good weather forecast for Sat. & Sun. with a high of 73* and scattered t storms according to the TWC forecast. See ya'll there!
