Steve, Lets hope them showers are very scattered! Its a beauty here today, that figures though.
I know of one saw I hope ya don't forget to bring, That 7700!
Looking forward to seeing all these saws I don't have...and the fellas that own them too.:)

Gregg,

Yeh, I figured it was better to have a "scattered shower" forecast than one that said "70% chance of rain."
No doubt about the bigger saws coming but I have such a variety of small saws that it's hard to decide. Also got other brands including a MS361, 5100S and the Dolmar 133.

That sounds like a good mix of off brand saws:biggrinbounce2:

I havn't heard what Nik is bringing, I know he has a MS361 also. The only oddball I have, is 385xp LOL, so it will be there.

I am settin up 3 of those pop-up canopy gizmos today, they are only 10 footers, but might give us a little cover overhead, incase of a shower. The porta-crapper arrived thismorning also..LOL

Gregg,

Nik's bringing Banacanin's cherry 3400 and maybe a 4000 or two, or three if I can get them back together in time. Andre's 3400 is coming as well. I can bring my MS361 but this day belongs to the greatest North American manufacturer of saws of all time. I hoped to have the trinity with me, but, as usual, I'm not done.

That being said, I will bring a lot of handshakes and a genuine happiness to be amongst friends, new and old. (there might be some beer for later too)

Gregg, thats why most of those are on that list!!!!!

Whats the biggest bar I need to bring?

Well, the biggest log I have, may go 28-29", I got a bunch that are probably in the 24" range and some smaller ones.
They have aged a bit since i took these pics..lol

We should have enough wood to cut on. Nothing huge..but enough white & red oak to excersize some saws.:)

Gregg,

Got the truck loaded today. I think I've got 14 total if I counted correctly. Mostly little saws, some you've seen in pics, some you haven't. Got the 5200, 7700, and Dolmar 133. I think the 133 is the only off brand. If you've never run one you need to check it out. Unfortunately, the longest bar I have for it is 20". Got 24" bars for the Poulans along with a 28" bar for the 5200.

Nik, the 4000 is still one I don't have that I'd like to get. I'll bring a little extra cash if you have one you or anyone might part with.

I'm leaving tomorrow a.m. and hope to see you, Gregg early tomorrow evening.

Gregg,

Who's stopping!? LOL I'll try out your phone # sometime tomorrow when I get on the road.

Steve

Steve,

What mount is that 133???

Surely one of us has a bigger bar if you would like to put one on it.
I'm REALLY looking forward to running that one!!!

Gregg,

Thats what I got to thinking! I dont have a cap for the truck and don't want one as it would have to come on and off to many times with that 5th wheel hitch, so I'm throwin the crossover tool box in it and my buddy is loaning me a huge gang box to use to put the saws in.

Greg, that wood looks great!

Mike, it's a D033 mount and has the large 14 mm slot like the large Stihl pattern. D033 is hard to find and haven't found another bar to fabricate. It's just one of the things on the list. Actually do have a 30" Windsor DCX bar but didn't want one quite that long. Would like either 24 or 28 inch. It's a torquey saw!

That's why I'm hoping to get to Gregg's soon enough this evening to drop some of this stuff off and not keep it with me at the KI.

Well I got the box's in the truck tonight and told the boss I'm leaving after 8 hrs tomorrow.

I'll get them loaded up tomorrow night!

I'll be picking Super3 up on the way and we should be there by mid morning.

Thats Great!! Be good to see Super3 again. I still owe Mike a cup of coffee LOL, he was a life saver early on a chilly Sunday morning at Erick's GTG last fall. He was the forward thinking guy, that went to town early that morn, and got a thermos filled with coffee!

Steve (67 Mustang) got here yesterday about 4:00, Had a great visit with him. Great fella! We just might have to make a few test cuts today, just to make sure the wood is ready to go..LOL

Lookin forward to seeing you guys Sat. Morning!

Gregg,

It might take Steve all day to get his saws unpacked, and wiped down :D
I think everybody will enjoy the quality of his saws. :jawdrop: Some of them look brand new. Ive got one I just picked up from him, and it was spotless. Then I buried the 42" bar :)

I am on my way out of the house to the hospital. My daughter is in labor with our 1st grandchild but I still expect to be at Greggs in the morning as long as all goes well. (going a liitle nuts right now):dizzy:
