Hi! New to the forum and looking for a 55-60ish cc pro level saw that will be used mainly for firewood and land clearing.
I’ve got my eye on a Husq 359, 357xp or a Echo 600, 620 but I’m open to ideas!
Matt
I bought a new 4910 at my local dealer on Thanksgiving eve. The next few days (after thanksgiving was over) I started to play with my new toy and break it in 😄. So then the next few weeks i'd cut some firewood, which it did great, and really loved the way it performed. I then pulled the tube out...
Newbie here…
recently came into an Echo CS-590 for cheap! Under $200! I’ve given it a good once over, minus compression test or break down of the cylinder. I’m a east coast guy, so my biggest wood is old oaks, poplars, and maples. This saw has been a life saver this week with the snowstorm we...

Just picked up a 066 without a decompression button and it has the metal flywheel starting to hear some negative views on the saw regarding a weak crank . Should I be worried or be looking for a 066 with the polly flywheel ? just want a reliable saw and don’t need a new 661 . This saw has good...
Hey guys and girls, my name is Mike and i am new to the forum. Been an avid outdoorsman my whole life and recently trying to get into the wood business instead of just doing it for myself. #bluelinewoodservice
Anyway glad to be apart of this community!
Here is a pic of some of the saws!
Anyone have good details or instructions on how to remove the tube/deflector in the 620 muffler? would like to open it up some and that looks like a good place to start. What tools and methods worked best or well when doing do?
Evening, my echo 620p is extremely temperamental when trying to start when it’s cold out, about 15 to 30 deg. I have a second 620 that is not. I don’t have that one at the moment (brother has it for a while) but the saws are the same so why the difference in starting? I’ve started from scratch...
I just got my hands on this old soldier. I was on a job site and the previous owner offered it to me while on his way to the dumpster to chuck it in. I thought, "pretty sad shape, but maybe".
The blade was rusted to the bar, so nothing moved. I'm tearing it down carefully and cleaning. We'll see...

Have an Echo 310 & 800P. Interested in a Stihl, about the same size as the 310. Which I think is around the 251. Wouldn't mind going a bit bigger.
Also, if anyone has an Echo 300-EVL, let me know. I'd like to purchase the saw, need some parts off it
Recently purchased a echo cs-6702 from marketplace and everything with the saw seems fine except it wont start.
Ive put a new spark plug in, fuel filter, fresh fuel and confirmed that the ignition coil is working.
Does anyone know of any common things to try to get this thing started ?
Hello experts! Brand new to this site. I’m a small engine tech and I’m working on an echo cs 600p.
The owner said while operating it that the rpm’s began to race and it wouldn’t shut off. After getting it to stop he restarted it and it would idle but cut out after the throttle was applied. I...
Hi folks,
So I was casually surfing Craigslist last night looking for a bookcase for the living room and an ad that I was looking at said, at the bottom of the listing, "also a couple old non running chainsaws". Of course I saw this as divine intervention telling me to spend money on chainsaws...
Up for sale are some of my extra chainsaws. I have a Pioneer Farmlite that has no spark for $100, and a Pioneer 550 for $50.
All the saws are $50 each unless otherwise noted. There are 2 montgomery wards saws.
The montgomery wards are $100 plus shipping.
I also have various Homelite parts.
I...
Hi group, I'm a complete newbie, and I ran a brand new echo 590 for a few minutes with the brake on. Of course it started to smoke but I was under the impression it was the pre-mix. The wind changed and I smelled burning rubber... I was trying to get the brake off before starting it but I...
Still needing a one-piece ignition coil module, fits some others e.g. cs4600 and others. These don't have a separate coil, which is the alternative to this one. A pic is included below. I paid for one from an Arborist LURKER, and he scammed me, never heard from him again. He also lurks on OPE...
I am wanting to buy a Echo cs-590 for general purpose. I purchased a small lot with a bunch of mulberry trees that need to be removed. I am in my small town small engine repair shop and the owner wants to sell me a 590 with 18" bar. I told him I want to buy one with a 20" bar. He said he'd sell...
Hello Everyone. First let me say thank you for reading my post. I'm a big fan of online forums. I'm on a number of them because of the wealth of knowledge that can be found there.
I bought an Echo TimberWolf CS-590 about a year ago. Mine came with a 20" bar and the receipt shows my chain...
