Last summer a good friend dropped off a 015L he got from his dad's estate. Asked me if I could get it running, I knew his Dad well so I couldn't say no.
yesterday I did a 015L search on this site, to get some background info. I bought a K 10 rebuild kit and a plug on my way home from work today. The saw was easy to disasemble as was the carb. TWO QUESTIONS:
Should I replace the brass check valve in the carb? Whats the failure mode? sticks open or closed? 2nd question. How do I remove the fuel filter? If I follow the fuel line from the carb to the tank housing, the fuel line passes through a bung, do I remove this bung and this allows the filter to come out?
Also is the fuel line and filter still available, if not what can I use?
Thanks Oh yea, the saw has great compression and a fat blue spark, so I just need some fuel.
