Dealer has an 029 super (asking $185). Thought if he'd go $125-$150 it would make a good 'extra/loaner' since I got rid of my Craftsman loaner a few garage sales ago (didn't have a brake).

Then maybe one day the 29 could be used to run a ripsaw?

I know...it's just a distraction...nevertheless I'm down one saw and it's beginning to bother me...

No, no, no.... I'm not down TO one saw... I'm down BY one saw since I got rid of a Craftsman.

If I was down TO one saw I would NEVER admit it here! :ices_rofl:

My 361 was acquired prior to my 025 and 066. I'd really llike to find a 70-80cc saw (Prince?), but this 029 Super surfaced and I thought it might be worth $150 for a spare...or loaner...or ripsaw...or for a hardnose bar and cutting crossties and other nasty stuff...or I really don't know:dizzy: .

It's cheap and it's a saw  ... Can it take an 039 piston & cylinder later?

Whew..... what a relief....

Yes, it can take an 039 P&C, but... you won't want to do it... pita and expensive - easier just to drop in the entire motor - still a pita.
