looking at the stihl site. they list the 036,or whatever they call it now,
as home and farm saw. thought it would have been in the pro section. whats with that. not important ,just curious.
ps treeclimber ,did u get that 3400 u were after on ebay.i guess it was u
similar name, was bidding it.
ill check today.

Not me, I am not set up with E-bay. I am just about due for a new climbing saw, but when I get one I will buy a new one from my dealer. He treats me right and the Echo's are cheap enough new. Over 3 years on my current one, still runs perfectly.

Just the size for large home and farm work. All pro saw inside.

tree climber ,if id known it wasnt u id have posted it here.last i chacked,it was 60 bucks or so w a couple hrs left. just dont need another saw or id have bid it.
thanks stihl tech. just didnt make sense to me. like u say ,just marketing ,i guess.
ps the 3400 looked pretty dang good,
but u never know. with the price of a new one u better ofc w one under warranty,which is a strong pt for echo.
