I recently broke my 041 AV Super.. engine shield (lower hand grip part) cracked, and when I pulled it off found the muffler had separated from the exhaust stack. Got replacement parts thru the forum (thanks Dave), and put it all back together. Comparing the mufflers, the only obvious difference is that the stack, or pipe from cylinder to muffler, is smaller diameter.
Wondering how much top end I can expect to lose due to the smaller stack?
Planning to have the original assembly welded back together and re-install this winter when I'm not using the saw.
