041G gearcase oil?

Recently picked up a Stihl 041G. I notice the gear box has a plug to remove. Opened it and saw what looked like oil flow rate adjuster. Any ideas of what oil to use and how much?

SAE 30 oil was used for the gear drive. Fill the gear housing with oil until it reaches the lower edge of the oil fill hole.

Intertec chainsaw service manual 4th edition has a little blurb about the 041g and 090g. Says what DND 9000 posted, SAE 30 oil to lower edge of fill hole. Never found a service manual or owners manual for the 041g.

Thanks guys. Glad nothing exotic just sae 30. Now just to confirm that is to neck of fill hole on its side? That doesn’t seem to leave much room for expansion. We are talking about the large 3/4” plug

Good thing that you asked, It's when sitting straight up (normal position). It's only a couple ounces of oil.
