Well most of you here don't have the time in grade to remember the 50s/60s. Back then the Japanese and German imported stuff was really looked down on and vilified. If you drove a VW beetle you were embarrassed and made fun of. Today those VW are cult and valuable. Today it is Chinese that is getting the Bronxs cheer. There are people that swear by them and people that swear at them. I say relax and everything in good time. Some of the stuff is admittedly bad but some is usable at a cheap price. To say German is good and Chinese bad is near sighted. The German stuff is 4x the Chinese parts and the money is still going overseas either way., whether you live in Australia or the US
