I have a number of FarmerTec saws with aftermarket P/C that act that way. Try taking the piston just past top-dead-center and then giving it a good hard pull.

I am 6' 7" (that's a full two meters,, in Canada talk) and weigh 260 pounds,, I ain't a weakling,,
but,, my 029 Super would RIP the starter handle right out of my hand.

I gave up and bought a MS261C-M (that was a good purchase regardless)

Well, nothing on the 029 Super looked wrong, but, I was getting a gallon of oil at the Stihl place, and I asked if he had an air filter for the 029.
He said it was his last one, since I recently bought the other saw, he gave me the air filter.

I installed the new air filter,, and that cured the saw!!
It now starts like it did when brand new,,,
The other filter did not look horrible,, but, it must have been clogged just enough.

The problem is the lack of delayed spark advance at cranking speed.

A genuine Stihl coil will cure it.

So I’ve got an older 066 no decomp. I’ve had it happen in the past here and there. Go to start it and right about TDC the pull cord stops dead and it feels like it firing early. Kills your hand and after a few times you just have to stop. Anyway here recently that’s all it will do. I’m pretty certain it’s a firing issue doesn’t do it if I unhook the plug wire. Already pulled the flywheel and it didn’t sheer the key so what other causes could there be for early firing?
Have a look at my post " Stihl saws kickback on start" You could measure the actual ignition point using this method. One reply says ignition point is 26-28 deg BTDC That seems a lot. You could try retarding the ignition timing a little to see if it helps ( yes take out the woodruff key- see my post). As some say who know the correct fully functional ignition coils often have a cranking speed ignition retard function, it may be failed in your saw? Let us know the actual ignition timing your saw has this is not published.
