What should a 4 yr old 066 with a new carb,New jug,New piston And new oil pump sell for?

I would venture to say about half of whatever the going rate is for new 66, maybe a little more if the rest of the saw is in decent shape. Another factor would be who installed these new parts, a regular saw shop or by someone else who tinkers on saws? If both have a reputation for being good wrenches that would up the value a little.

I myself am a little leery of sellers who sell things with new engine parts installed and advertised as being freshly overhauled unless I know them. Saws aren't that big of a deal, compared to a regular engine, there are alot variables that go into rebuilding anything with an engine, some people are really skilled at it, others not so skilled if you get my drift.

Good luck

This saw was traded in at my dealer He is installing the parts.I cant get it for 450.00

You can or can't get it for $ 450 ??? If you can get it for $ 450, dealer installed parts, sounds like a deal to me. I have not been in the market for a big saw for awhile, but just from watching e-bay those 66's bring on average about $600.

There must be a heck of a mark-up in those engine parts. If you were to go into the shop and try to buy those same parts retail, a guy would almost have that tied up in the parts, then the dealer has got to cover his labor expense.

Please don't rub it in. I have been looking for a spare 75. The 101 is OK for course cutting bull work type cuts on the ground. The 75 with it's faster chain speed makes a cleaner better cut.

I'm hoping he will get some 200T's in.He has a tree guy that Doesnt spend any money on repairs. He brings in a pickup load of Equipment and trades it for 1 or 2 new pieces.I got a 460 that the dealer put a new clutch and oil pump in a few weeks ago for 400.00 It runs great. Hey Why buy new?
