Just installed new piston. Set the carb to where she performs best and on the rich side--maybe 3/4 out. This seems a little low--the manual specifies 1 1/4 turns to start. Saw starts 4th pull with compression valve, idles and accelerates perfect, compression perfect--this saw is a beast to turn over. Bogs somewhat when bucking 24" white oak. Is there a problem here or am I worried over nothing?

Thanks, Chris B.

with a saw made for that heavy cutting.
id try and get it more than 3/4 out.
its gonna be in some heavy cut ,sounds like. also get the low, as rich as will run . jmo and theres plenty here, can tell u better than me.im just a little lean shy these days.:)

I'll do some fidgeting when I can. The information in the posted link confirmed the way I set the saw so I feel better, but I have room to set her a little richer so I'll spend some time on it later on.

You're right, the 075 is a BIG and heavy saw. The first time I cut with it, my hands were shaking when I finished.

Thanks, Chris B.
