That old saw is a heavy brute a friend of mine has one that has very little hours on it the only time it gets used is bucking big big wood. My dads old 051 is a good saw just too heavy for general falling its a good bucking saw thou lots of torque no need to rev it up to high. When I was bucking 48" diameter fir you run brandnew chain at the time I was running a 28" bar your legs would get buried in saw dust.
I have had some people say to me oh a 066 can buck better than the 051 I said to myself I don't think so.
One thing you don't do is try start the 051 without using the decomp valve if you try start without I hope you don't have any feeling in your hands.
