Blew the saws out, sharpened chains, etc. in preparation for some cutting today. 034 and 064 were flawless.

084 was great last night, but when I picked it up today it wanted to hag up on the throttle, wouldn't go below a too fast idle. Traced it to the handle, and eventually freed it up. Worked great after that. My best guess is that I blew something into the handle with compressed air last night.

Question is, how do I get the handle apart? I also figured out that the safety part of the handle is stuck, so it needs to come apart if for no other reason than to fix that. I need to know how to get the black part off the top of the back handle................

Yup. what Andy said.

I'm pretty sure its a T-25 torx head, might be a T-20 cant remember off the top of my head right now.

Thanks guys, found it pretty easy. It's a flathead screw in this case. Spring's gone out of the handle. Removed the piece that you have to hold down with the top of your hand for the time being until I can get to the dealer for a spring, couldn't find anything in stock that would work. This is a really clean low hour saw that I put a piston in because it got lean siezed (I think, bought it in pieces in a box), want to keep it right.
