lets see who all has hit it during this recent cold snap, yesterday morning here in central Iowa I made 85 degrees so I got close, was 13 below outside and the house was at 72. the part I was the happiest about was i loaded my G2+ Polar at about 9pm the night before and I only used about half the load. I am running 1500 of storage with it though so that makes it a bit unique, I do like these 2 loads per 24 hours even with temps like that. The low yesterday being 13 below and the high was 3 above, and it still only took 2 loads in 24 hours. I wish I could say other things played as nice yesterday, my well pit froze up at some point during the day so had to bust out the heat lamp and am hoping for the best.

It's been a brutal winter here, several nights below 0* and lots of snow.
Not quite sure what type of stove you're describing.
My CB 5036 runs at 165* - 175* and the house stays 73*.
It's a hydronic system " hot water under the floor " .
I fill the stove every 12 hours and have been through 6 1/2 cords of oak so far.
