I just posted this in the other older thread on the 250.
I had a 250 back about 20 years ago for several years and it started fine cold it was warm starts after sitting for 10-15 minutes I had trouble with, it would flood. I cussed that saw more than any other saw I ever had. Had it in the shop where I bought 2 or 3 times and they couldn't straighten it out. Traded at the same shop for a Husqvarna 55 which was later stolen along with my Husky 371XP and a leaf blower.

I was watching YT videos the other day and I ran across one that sounded like what I described above on warm starts. He said he couldn't prove it but he believes due to the way fuel line is are routed that sitting down turned off hot and leaving it sitting for 10-15 minutes it was vapor locking(gas boiling out of the line). His answer was to let idle for about 30 seconds before turning it off and he said after that he never had anymore issues.
