Hey guys I had this truck built and now I don't need it and I have never even used it. The body and platform are brand new. This is a non CDL truck that weighs just under 17,000 pounds as it's pictured here. That includes the weight of a 2500 lb mini loader and the tongue weight of a bc1000xl chipper. This truck can carry a full load of chips and still be under CDL. $55,000 152k miles. Please let me know what you think. (The mini loader and chipper are not for sale.)

In Michigan it doesn't matter what a truck weighs to determine whether it is a CDL truck. All that matters is what the GVW for the chassis is. This will be on the tag inside the door. I have a bucket truck that doesn't weigh anywhere near 26,000 lbs. but still need a CDL since it's on a 33,000 lb GVW chassis.
That's the way it works in Florida too. I listed the actual weights so someone could see the payload carrying capability.

If the truck has air brakes you need a CDL. Pretty sure that's for all states. To the seller, you may wish to list what the drive train components are.
In nc you just get an airbrake endorsement on your regular drivers liscense if under 26k. Pretty sure we're not the only ones.
Air brakes is only an endorsement on a cdl not something that requires a cdl.
Either a Z or an L restriction but endorsement is easier to explain.
