1) What is it - I know it is a Homelite, but what model?

2) What parts is it missing? Definitely appears to be missing the muffler and perhaps a recoil?

3) I know this isn't the trading post, but who wants it? It turns over. Send me a PM.

Except for the muffler, it looks intact. Never had a recoil. Wind and pull rope start.

They had a recoil, and this one I bet would have had one too. The mounting holes are there, and there is no polishing around the rim, it's been protected. I'm guessing the recoil boogering up is probably the reason the saw was retired. Too nice to throw away, to old and heavy to use, and Momma said "yes" to a new saw....25 years ago. It still happens that way today. I keep waiting for my Super XL to break so I have an excuse.

Its either a Wiz, Buz or Zip.

In this pic there is a tag right in front of the throttle trigger, clean it off and you will find the model listed on it.

Its missing the muff, the spikes and the recoil.

I could probably dig up the parts if you wanted to get it running.

homelite wiz

in one of the posts , someone said these saws didnt have recoils thats bulllll

there are 4 screws that would bolt a recoil to the housing that original recoil would be a fairbanks- morse impulse starter;)

My mistake. I'll humbly take my flogging with a cold salmon now. :greenchainsaw: :buttkick:
