I think everyone is suffering from "cabin fever", and a tad bit
on edge.
This "East Coast Clearwater" may turn into a large brawl.

I think Glen just decided to use this thread to defend his
position on the Art Martin controversy.

The original poster may just try a full chisel of either brand
and just for fun, try a 8 tooth rim sprocket, they only cost $4.50,
and see if he likes it, he probably will.

I find it troubling to come across all of these threads with
a bunch of pissed off people, and I am not the root of it.

Fish,

Not so much defend as explain, inasmuch as there's a difference. I haven't been looking or waiting for an opportunity to give a blanket response to all the negative vibes I've gotten over "the controversy" but for some reason I was compelled to do so here in this thread.

Please jump all over me if I don't just drop it from henceforth.

I still wish Art would publicly reappear and continue his lessons. I certainly don't intend to confront him with any further arcane technical questions apart from those already discussed, and most certainly not without him initiating the discussion. I believe I've left it at that with posts addressed directly to him. To the rest of the visitors/participants here, I hereby leave the discussion of the entire debacle at your collective feet. Personally, I want to be done with it.

You're probably right, Fish, about the cabin fever; at least I'd hope it would be that temporary and easy to explain. I'd given some thought to attending the ECC but fear I'd be unwelcome at this point.

Glen

I'm impressed, Glen. You've only been here a month and managed to irritate, piss off or offend practically every member on the forum. I've been here almost two years and I think there are still some members that I haven't offended yet.

Yeah, I agree with you. Somebody would probably jam a saw up your rectum if you showed up at ECC.

Art is a member that "must" be listened to, and that is all.
Any dialogue on the forum, and without his consent, would be,
and is, construed as disrespect.
This reality, is just that, reality.
He has earned our respect, from just being who he is, and as
long as he has done it.
So when entering the temple, one must not piss off the
locals, let alone make Art leave said temple.

If I show up at the East Coast Clearwater, I would have my
butt kicked upon arrival. Huskyman and Tundraotto would
have my innards strewn across most of Pennsylvania, and
these other Yankees would be cheering such actions. I dare
not come near this place, as nothing good would come of it.

I like joshing you guys, but I am truly afraid to come to this
meeting, as I am a puny fellow, not much larger than Lambert,
and I am afraid you manly men, may harm me or Lambert. I do
have more hair, but he always has more women.
Life is unfair.

Fish,Glen
Everyone is welcome at ECC,I am actually looking forward to the both of you showing up.I have started to build the boxing ring and I am going to sell tickets.

Hey Fish, if you`re a little bit larger than Gypo, who is bigger than life, how could you be a small guy? Is it the fear of crossing the Mason-Dixon line where you could run into a few of us diversified, forward thinking, and open minded individuals that`s really bothering you, or is it fear of exposure as Beavergirl that`s really got you bothered? Russ

Actually I was joking, I am a large,ugly redneck. I have boots
that weigh more than Lambert.
I also have a serious need for large amounts of beer, which
concerns me, if I travel in Quaker/Amish country. I also need
to know if there is a 5 star jail there, as I am picky about my
stays in jail.
What is the nearest town?

I think I will call you sometime soon, Fish. I haven't had any real good verbal abuse lately since Gypo has gone politically correct ever since he's been getting tapped on a regular basis. I think I need a good dose of it from an acknowleged pro.

Fish, Dont discount he drinking power of the Amish. Them old farm boys are tough as nails and will drink you under the table. I didnt think the drank either till a neighbor hired them to build a barn. They would never ask for beer, but would not turn it done either. They drank my neighboor and I into a stupor one night and I got the feeling they where just getting warmed up. BTW Fisherized any Beavers lately?

Fish
Some of the Amish woman around here have there own large hooters and they are also barrel shaped.
We really dont have much use for jails around here as our crime rate is very low.If we catch someone committing a crime,we just terminate that person right then and there,no questions asked.Come to think of it,maybe that is why this town is so small and never gets any larger.
