Okay,

I would like to switch my 346xp over to 3/8" chain. What part(s) do I have to buy, and what tools would I need to do it. I have researched this, and even purchased some items from Bailey's, but I think I am more confused then before I started?

Thanks!!!

you need the 3/8 rim and the 3/8 bar or if you have an oregon powermatch you could get away with swapping the nose. Otherwise, you just need the bar

...

Thanks Freak.

Bailey's has the "Rim/Drum" available and I was wondering If I had to buy that complete unit or If I could just replace the rim. Gracias.

The only tool you need is the clutch removal tool.

You can get a Dolmar bar and chain combo that fits the 346 so you will have the same chains on both saws. Helps to elimate confusion.

You can replace only the rim if your saw has the floating rim sprocket, and most of them do. The Rim in the kit above will fit it.
