I'm getting a another saw, a local dealer has a 346XP for $519 and a 550XP for $599.00 both with 20" bars. They both feel great, I'm tempted to grab the 346 since that won't be an option later, they are getting very rare.

But if the new 550 is superior I might as well buy it now. I worry down the road though that the computer will give me issues and then I'll wish I had bought the 346. Too many choices :dizzy:

Thanks!

Had both, my vote is the 550XP. They are really amazing for 50cc stock.

With a great Dealer the computer is a moot point to me. No Dealer support? Stay 346XP.

Spike60 on this site is a super Dealer IMO. The Engine Builders on this site are top notch too.

Thanks. So which one did you keep? We have great dealer support in this area. I can honestly say I've never needed anything other than filters, chains and bars in the last 15 plus years.

The 562XP is temping too after reading all the great reviews on here.

562 is an awesome saw man! Won't regret buying one of them!

I have done quite a bit of limbing with my 550, but today was the first time I've had the chance to fully bury
the 18" bar in some big wood. I have to say that it impressed the hell out of me! Held the high RPM (10,000 or so)
better than my 346OE. Almost like that of a 60cc or so saw! I would go 550 and never look back.
