Not a Stihl helmet

Thanks Berm, I'm gonna check out that helmet setup in your pic, like the look of the air-vents and dust catcher, never seen one like that here, but if it's stihl, they'd supposedly be available down here, serious bar on that saw

It's a Petzel climbing helmet (Vertex Vent) w/Peltor ear/visor system in Bermie's pic and it's not the one for $35 (helmet alone like $80). I have one too. Great helmet, extremely comfortable but a bit pricey for strickly ground work. I have a "Stihl" helmet system as well(also Peltor add ons) that I use for ground sawing and chipping, that one is like $35-40. You can also buy that same Peltor system in the picture to put on any helmet with the appropriate slots in the sides of the brim.

BTW, great pic Bermie. That's a aweful big pile of chips you're wading in..:rockn:

Yeah, sorry for the confusion!
I'm wearing my climbing helmet, not the groundie, one but the dust catcher and visor / muffs are the same. They came in Stihl branded packages so I am guessing they are available somewhere. The dust catcher has little rivety things that snap onto the top of the visor and a bit of elastic that snaps behind the muffs to seal it against whatever helmet you have.
The Petzl Vertex vent is Great for hot weather, lets the steam out!
