My 372 leaks like this, my other husky's don't. Anyway, if I remember when I'm done with the saw I open the oil cap up, then screw it back on and put it away, then it doesn't leak. That seems to break the siphon, fwiw

This worked for my 136 also.

I dont have any problems with Huskys leaking oil (2 346's, 372, and 385). I did have a problem like you describe when I had a Windsor bar. It had two oil holes and one wasnt being blocked and it leaked oil all over the place. Switched to Oregon powermatch and had no problems.

Rob
I have a windsor on my 372xp and no leaks and a oregon on my 395xp and it leaks but i think it comes out the oil tank vent.

Open mouth, Insert foot. The manual is right, and I'm wrong. I took a pump and from the in/low position you can get right at 4 turns out/high position. Sorry if I caused any anxiety over this.

Walmart Bar Oil:

I had some bar oil that I had bought from a local dealer. It was 30 weight and it seemed real tacky. I then was in Walmaart and got a gallon of their 30 weight oil. To me it smells like some sort of International " Hy-tran fluid" with not much tacky quality in it. My old saws seem to leak more using that oil. If I store my saws any length of time I have to drain the oil tanks to keep them from leaking dry. I've even tried to loosen the caps, but they still will leak untill the oil tanks are almost empty. This didn't happen with the other oil from the dealer. Just my 2 cents. Lewis.
