372xp "w" 32" bar?

So... Why does husky say the 372xp with the wrap around handle is rated for a 32" bar but the regulat 372xp can only go up to 28"? Talked to my dealer and he confirmed it.. makes no sense to me. I thought thepowedetermined the bar size it can handle? My dealer only has the 372xpw with a 32" bar. Should I buy it as is or tell him to put a 28" on it?FL

The 372 xp wrap handle with a 32" bar is a great softwood felling setup, and probably why it's offered. I wouldn't go past a 24" if you are going to be cutting mostly hardwoods.

Is it an older XPW? Those were 75cc and the XP is 70cc

I have two in my truck box. One with a 24inch for hardwoods and the 32 for large pines' . No issues up here. Plenty of torque in both cases.
