What is required? Does the belt pulley on the PTO just come off and replace with a rim sprocket? What about the oil pump/tank/cap? Full wrap handle for a 372? Side cover? Chain brake? I don’t have a parts saw here so it would all be new purchase.
There will be a hole in the crankshaft were your cluch bearing is- gets lubed from the inside the crankcase - needs to be bunged or you will have a major air leak
This is just an exploratory question, we were debating at the meeting last night buying a rescue saw and which one. The question was raised about this saw, which we already own, and could it be converted? Sounds like a project, this saw has one been used a couple of times, and both at trainings. , honestly it might be worth selling because it doesn’t get any use at all.
