441 Limiter Cap Question - New saw pics

Probably not so... and even on the H there is less reason than on prior saws... I sometimes pull them and just set them an 1/8 more to the richer to get more adjustrment range.

I have the Stihl tool to pull the limiter caps out of my 361 but I'm curious -- can the caps be pulled out through those black plastic "tubes" that lead to the outside of the saw, or do you need to move the black plastic tubes out of the way by partially disassembling the saw? :help:
 
I remove mine first thing. I normally need more high and low then the caps will allow.
I use a wood screw, screw it in a little ways in one of the caps then take some pliers and pull it out. Normally the cap and the aluminum insert come out. I then take some needle nose pliers and remove the other cap.
But, then again I am in different circumstances then many of you.
