You know, if you don't back up your statement with vids, SawTurd will be along shortly to call you a liar:).

P.S. - Never mind...even if you provide vids, he will still call you a liar and proceed to tell you what a piece of crap saw you own.

The Echo 590 and 600p can be bought at a big box store...not a thing wrong with that. With a simple MM and tune, they will give any other 60cc saw a run for their money. Quality built to last a long time as well.

this information is supposed to be secret! if word gets out, that a person can buy a saw for less, that runs and cuts just as good if not better than the almighty "stihl", it might hurt peoples feelings on here knowing they paid too much for antiquated saws!

I run 460 and a 590, the biggest difference I notice going from one to the other, the 590 is noticeably heavier. They cut about the same.
Why is the 455 mentioned all the time and the 460 almost never?

Do a MM and tune to your 590 and that will change.

The 590 is about 6 oz. heavier than the 460. That's not really "noticeably heavier" in my book but to each their own.

Based on how my back and shoulders feel less strain after I run a tankful through the 590, then pick up the 460 and keep on cutting.
It might be handle shape or position, I can't tell one from the other weight wise, by just picking them up.
