Maybe if the saw was ported and could really use it but a stock saw and I dint like the mess it makes running without the air filter and cover. Something to be said for keeping a saw clean and presentable

Ain’t nothing clean about this 1100 turd saw it’s being made from 2 of them and my original carcass is already made up of 2 different saws. Seems the macs and the Homelite saws have been getting some new aftermarket parts lately wish someone would do it for pioneer.

Theres also something to be said for reviving and old saw with what parts you can find. Nice when you can but some of the best cutting saws are the pieces together ugly ones. Having that struggle with my old mac 640. Have seals and bearings that will hopefully work. Still need a flywheel cover and an air filter cover. A nice used upper tank would awesome to. Havent decided on gasket material yet either....
