third evil in my opinion. Loose the retail loops and go with a carbide tipped loop or through hardened tooth loop. They have to be sharpened with a diamond impregnated wheel but the wheels aren't all that expensive and the rakers on any of them can be dropped with a standard red wheel. Just my humble opinion. I use carbide tipped loops or through hardened loops when cutting close to the ground prior to grinding stumps. Sure save dulling chains in the dirt.
