Haven’t actually tried it yet , just did it should do a little improvement from other people mods , If anything will keep saw running cooler have to auto tune it in log to reset the carburetor

Hi mate, how have you found the muffler mod on your 592? Did it cause any problems with the Auto tune? And has it consistently ran cooler?

Not problems , did help the saw high end performance, and runs cooler with extra port, need to do an auto tune reset, to compensate for exhaust modification .

There’s videos on YouTube about reset, I fire it up let it idle for 1:30 then , I have a log around 7 feet long , bury the tip into log , with heavy load , run the saw down length of log , it will fluctuate until you hear it settle into a constant high rpm, without fluctuating,

That’s how I tuned my old 562XP. However, I thought that the new AutoTune 3.0 was a bit different…maybe not.

I think if you just cut under load , it will find itself basically the same way ,

Really only need to do it , if you change the modification of saw from original configuration .
