592xp rev limiter

Why does my 592 bounce of the Rev limiter? When in big wood it is fine start limbing that's when it sputters I think that's the way it is designed but really frustrating when running.any thoughts can they plug into computer and eliminate it??

The rev limit can’t be changed. It’s there for a reason.

Because your chain is dull or the rakers are too high and it’s not loading the saw enough. You can also use an 8 tooth sprocket to help bring the rpm down with a shorter bar
