face off between 36" and 41", first with 404 RSLF chains, then changed tips to 3/8ths and did 36" full comp RS vs 41" full comp RS
I think if the paint was removed from the cannon tip, it would run 100F cooler! The wide tips don't have paint on them and that is what they run at ...about 100F cooler. No joke.
Jug temps pretty much same across the board. Based on the temps and the paper tests (spray paper with oil for 15sec WOT) i'd say the 41" still oils good enough on the 661. If it wasn't oiling good enough I would expect to see the main bar temps sky high.
661 has the power to pull the 41" no doubt about it. But it is a beast as I said in the other thread. the 41" 404 RSLF was very smooth. Probably my favorite.
