if the lower bearings are damaged can i get away with just rebuilding the lower end? if the lower end is bad whats the chances the top end is in bad shape if the cause was no oil circulation?

Would you be interested in buyiing a good used one?

You could roll new bearing shells in on the rods/mains, but if you know the problem stemmed from low oil pressure/running without oil, odds are you will have to install new cam bearings as well to regain the correct oil pressure.

The used motor is sold I will keep looking.
