Okay, I'm probably missing something real simple but..

94 310xp, black coil, 3 hole mounting setup. Weak spark. Replaced the spark plug wire and cleaned out the mounting screw hole. Got better, then worse. I can't find a 3 hole coil. Any source recommendations? Or is there a conversion kit or process? The saw was running great until recently. Leak tests and compression are good but it won't fire even with fuel squirted directly into the spark plug recess.

I've tried searching the threads but could only find green to black conversion info.

Thanks, I feel like I'm back in the old Stihl 045AV cloud.

Thanks for the idea but the 3 hole mount set up doesn't allow for adjustment. The coil has no adjustment slots.

I was told to just use the new style coil and mount it in only two of the three case mounting holes. A new type coil has the slotted adjustment hole. I need to match the new coil with a new style flywheel andI found a used one with a good magnet for $30. So I think I'm good to go. Thank you Sawfun.

If I recall, the coil number is 1309?

Type is AM37C.

part number, as best I can read it, is 509 203 09. Not sure if that's a SEM part number or Husky. I can't find it referenced in my searches. The 509 might be 809 but that makes no Husqvarna sense.
