There definitely is valuable information on YT from knowledgeable people.
Steve's small engine, Billy Ray for example.

If I'm watching a video with someone operating a saw in flip-flops and no PPE, I move on.
I've never done FB or Instagram, don't read a newspaper or watch TV either 🙂

What are your thoughts on Timber Kutter Patriot?

He knows what he is doing but hard to respect a guy who always talks crap about Stihl, wants to compare pro Husky's to homeowner Stihl's. Goodfellers is a pretty good faller.

I have wondered why he keeps throwing the chain on his 500i. I can't remember if I've ever thrown a chain.

I just read an interesting article about a disturbing trend among YouTube, Facebook and TikTok content creators. They will purposely post videos showing poor techniques, materials, workmanship, etc. Because they actually get MORE views and comments that way. So for any homeowners on the forum, be very careful about this.
Well, they'll soon find out whether the views gained from poor workmanship is a better long term career strategy than the respect gained from real customers...

Mostly because he's a show-off and comes off to me as a braggart.
I'm not familiar with him. Some people have their preferences, and I'm good with that. But, if you tell me that your brand is the only way, I'm usually gonna start trash talking it, even if it is my favorite, then I'll start posting pictures of my saws of that make  .
That's never fun, maybe I've watched his stuff and just switched the channel because of it. There are many guys I watched when they were a tiny channel, then their heads swelled up, I'm out.
