today i stopped off at a place where a local; logger is clearing 25.
the man i walked up on, looked like disneys uncle remus. no racism intended. he had white hair ,and was stooped with age . he was also cutting with an old faded 372. i askim if that thing didnt get heavy,as the day got longer. he said
nope his favorite was the old 394.
his wds. that one u jus balance on the log and let it do the work.
i came home about 230pm, man i was cooked... as i passed he waved,an smiled a real big hello at me .... still toting that 372 and cutting away... this ole timer reminded me of my late daddy... they just make a different kind of muscle if they grew up during their day... to me it was amazing...thanks for reading. tm

Kind og reminds me of a joke.

Two bulls, one old, one young both standing on top of a hill, looking down on some cows.

Young Bull: "Let's run down and have us one of them cows".

Old Bull's slowly spoken reply: Son.....lets' walk down, and have 'em all".

yep. lmao.
thats the way it is, in the old bulls dreams anyway. we old bulls know the real truth. ibeen talkin the merits of taking u time an enjoying a thing ,for a while now. aint it funny how smart nature is.:)
i hope a certain young tarheel bull whom shall remain unnamed [lest i make him mad]
is puttin the beans in the jar, everytime
like he suppose to, the first year of marriage.i didnt try it but ive heard its an easy way ,to get a lifetime supply of beans.:)
