Well...looks like I won't have to find my lost marbles. I'm at the very limit of the adjustment knob, and if I don't top out the gas when I fill it, I can still see some oil when I run out. There's still plenty in the bar groove.

I went out to cut some hedge yesterday evening...I was looking forward to getting away from all the holiday hustle and bustle....a little peace and quiet. Started taking off the small limbs on this one downed tree, lifted the saw up to cut another...and watched the chain just kind shift forward in slow motion in the middle of a cut...right off the bar! Turns out I didn't tighten up both bar nuts...oops. They're those really nice big fat ones...nothing that would be sitting in the shop to use for replacement. Packed up my saw and went home. This morning I packed up the kids and the metal detector...within a few minutes found it. Tightened up the bar, sent the kids into the woods to find treasures and filled up the trailer with hedge. Life is good.

Merry Christmas! Che
