Advice on rigging with a crane?

Heelo all, tomorrow will be my first time rigging an Ash with the help of a crane. Any suggestions for a first time crane user?cheers

Start small, get a feel for it. Always have a hidey hole in case you misread the pick and it flips. Take your time. Remember your tension and compression wood will be reversed. Communicated with your crane op, and get a game plan together before you get in the tree, and make sure he watches his LMI!

Good luck, you will most likely learn a lot from this, like Jolly said, go small until you get comfortable.

Thank you guys, I was a little stressed at first, but figured it out pretty quickly. In the end, i also sub contracted an old teacher to guide me through it. Tree came down in 10 sections.. Its a different game though, crane rigging. Anyways, i learned a lot. cheers folks
