Thanks for the information guys. Who sells the K&N so I can take a better look at it? I also see that the Maxi flow calls for the filters to be oil soaked to trap dust were your experiences with oily filters or dry. I bet it makes a hugh difference on its ability to trap dust. Thanks the Hoosier!

Sharpen your chain it's a jungle out there!!

Sorry

Must be too early hear in Indiana I wanted to attach this to the Maxi Flow post!! More coffee less Jack! the Hoosier

My local Checker auto has a bunch of K&N filters but you'll need the adapter kit so that 'll have to be from a saw shop I'd imagine.I'll try to take a pic and post later today. I'm guessing that the dirty intake carbs using a Maxiflow were probably using inadequately oiled filters-I haven't used that brand but have had good results with oiled foam.

More coffee!:D

thanks Stumper

Thanks for following my posts Stumper! I tried to get some info on the K & N website today but couldn't find what I was looking for. Any information you can get me would be appreciated. thanks again the Hoosier!

Sharpen your chain the in-laws just pulled in!!

Man, I just noticed that you are in Rolling Prairie. I did part of my growing up a few miles from you. Went to kindergarten through 5th grades at Galena Elementary School!

Galena Hills

Hey Stumper! So you lived in the rolling hills of Galena Township. Pretty country it's not Colorado but pretty in it's own way. The old elementry is a eat and conference center now. Owned by the people who own the old heston bar! What year did you Graduate I had cousins that went to Galena? tha Hoosier

I was slated to graduate in 1981 but I was only in school in Galena Township from 1968-1974. I used to live on Fail Rd.
