Alert Jred saws on eBay not as advertised

I think they all have been marked with an R.

I believe the ebay seller just bought the whole motherload of these 50 and 70cc saws at a discounted rate and is now selling them off.

They are selling a lot more smaller saws now also, check their listings.

Yes it will put a hurt-en on Husky dealers in the short run and if they keep selling them for the long term.

So not all all the saws that ebayer is selling are marked "R", and they or the original JRed distributor chose (I don't believe for a second it wasn't deliberate) not to differentiate between the two when on-selling, and when husky decide to quite a brand, they just flick or allow distributors to leak the saws into channels that flick the saws off through Ebay at considerable discounts to what dealers of other husky brands are retailing the other saws at?

I guess Makita did this with Dolmar so maybe it's just the way it is.

My Dolmar liquidation saw arrived in an unopened box in perfect condition...just to be clear. Thank-you T&E!

It sounds like most or all of these saws are “scratch and dent” saws and should be advertised as such. It appears that many of them are simply unusable as delivered. That is not “new”, and that is the point regardless of price.

They're no longer a Jonsered chainsaw dealer...cuz they don't make them anymore. They're called Redmax now

I thought they rebadged all the cheapo poulanorwhatever saws they had been selling there as jonsered. Just saw a big billboard a few months ago announcing the jonsered brand "coming" to Menards.

I believe its the entire jred saw lineup, although they only kept a couple pro level saws.

There is still a respectable amount of ope including mowers, tractors, and other yard maintenance equipment that's still branded Jonsered, and that could be what's moving into Menards. Only the saws changed brand names

The only saws shown on the Jred site are smaller models up to the 2255. Maybe they're keeping those and the rest of the line went to redmax.
