I own in the neighborhood of 50 pro chainsaws and run saws daily. I own 3 alpinas an A40 a Pro55 and a C 70. I'd put their build quality and endurance up against any saw manufactured in the world. I'm a huge Dolmar and Stihl fan and use them daily but the quality and durability of Alpina saws are second to none and their power is impressive as well. There are little things that make you wonder why all saws don't have that feature. I will point out that I have zero knowledge of any recent plastic era saws carrying their name and they are in no way what I'm referring to.
