Well, In between saws i was able to put a fresh kit
in the carb. You can see the piston in the intake port
with the manifold off. WOW, Doe's it look new. This
saw ain't even broke in yet. Here are the first two
cuts i made with it.

Thanks for posting the video, has a real nice sound. My interest dont stray too far out of the Macs and Homies, but I really like that one. Would like to add the Alpina 120, and a Whitehead Logger to the collection.

Yes sir!! They way I figure it the hobby loses a lot of fun if there is no Holy Grail to search for. If I come with others some day, I can add the Skil 1690 to the list:msp_smile:.

That Alpina is a nice looking saw. Your saw restoration always makes for some great looking saws also. Thank for posting pictures of your work and your saws. How many 100cc plus saws do you have in your collection? The videos of your 166's idling is awesome.
