alternate use/chainsaw

Hi everybody,You guys are doing the buffalo wrong. You must use a vertical cylinder model so that the exhaust from the engine is not waisted. The synthetic oil is ok but the petrolem based oils really give you that smoked flavoring...its that like nothing you have ever tasted.Oh and be sure to collect the slivers in and around the clutch area, makes great hamburger.Gotta Go,talking about all this has got me hungry!MIKEY

Cut a hollow log once - clean through a slumbering Racoon - saw his head roll out one end - I beleive that he was quite asleep when all of this happened

Hmmmmm........... Mikey may be on to something. Add a little smoked sauce, or terriaki to your fuel mix, and you would be 1/2 way to some jerkey! All kidding aside, that was a nice bit of hunting guys! Cheers! :D

Nothin like a little slab O Beefalo A la hotsaw. Forget the Meat though. We need piano cuttin fun!

Huskyman- Years ago, a friend used a chain saw on a cadaver in medical school. His professor was not there, but it is a living legend. A question:can you tell be briefly about the following Huskys which I may be able to get: 260CD,E70,F70, A65 and MS90-Thanks MVY

G'day Huskyman,
Saw this at the Fieldays the other week. Great for trenching small pipe for a new water trough and the like. This one was on a 044 I think. I do wonder what it would be like in any soil that was rocky!! Might need an 090 powerhead for that!
Cheers
Charlie.

I use an old John Deere to cut large lead bars down to size so they fit into the melting pot for reloading and sinkers.

Yes they are large bars and it works great!

Slabberman-

Where does a guy get a ditch-witch attachment like that? I could really use that for laying in computer and DSS cables around my properties. Thanks, JJ

i do it like this all the time, and have for over 30 years. thats a 3000 echo and a paslode impulse cordless framing gun, phoenix, az. 1998.

Clamped the Husky 65 to the bench running on throttle lock and used the chain to taper the end of a shovel handle to fit.
Should be able to do just about any taper that way.
Works best when the handle and the saw bar are in line, ripping not cross cutting.

Note: Chainsaws are extremely dangerous, any use involving handle tapering should only be attempted by trained professionals.
This post in no way endorses or suggests such use.
:D

Talk to Dennis about using his Jonsey to cut up a mule deer. I believe the thread was named "chainsaw massacre" or something like that

LOL...the old Jonsey actually cut up a wild buffalo...I think the pic is somewhere on this thread....Gypo might have posted it....

the chainsaw massacre was a test of numerous saws vs. a side of beef....amongst other things.....lol...

Used one to cut a caber for the Highland Games I compete in. You have to be careful not get your kilt near the chain though!

Oh, and one of the fireman's field days here have a competition where you throw it as far as you can. I want to give it a try this year. Hopefully it's a craftsman!!
