Just read about an 036 a guy is trying to sell on ebay sayes he must use starting fluid to start it because he hasn't adjusted the carb for the lower altitude.I think he's been in the thin air to long. But this brings up the question do chainsaws have to be adjusted for altitude? I know carbs in cars and trucks had to be at one time.

A saw leaned out for high altitude ran unchanged at low altitude will probaly have lean seizure issues. Stear clear of that 036. Besides starting fluid is a big no no for a two cycle.

Anything that has to have starting fluid sprayed in it to start I avoid. But was just courious about the altitude adjustment.
