What makes this saw worth so much seeing how you can't get parts for it

I think this model is under callback from echo as well. I've seen this saw, in real poor shape, selling for too much on Ebay, more than a few times. I think if the saw qualifies on the callback, Echo will exchange it for a new saw, regardless of condition.

no that is a 500vl with the early filter cove under call back this is an evl

DOH!!! I found a second 500vl in the pile of parts saws. The serial #'s have to be below 23,000 both of mine are well over.
